A visit to Philadelphia

Finally after 3 1/2 months we found a reason to go down town to see the sights of Philadelphia. John, Jenn, Elaina, Jason & Becca came into town and wanted to go see the sights. John is a big history buff...so we went and saw the liberty bell, and independence hall...where the articles of confederation, the declaration of independence and the constitution were all written, we also saw the burial site of Ben franklin, and Betsy Ross' home. We even had true Philly cheese steaks for lunch. The only downside to the day was the 2 hour or more drive home...since it only took about 45 min to an hour to get there!!! So the next time we go will probably the next time one of you history buffs comes to visit...we will be your tour guides!!! But we had a great time and were really thankful everyone came to visit us!
