Our little pet...

This little bird is as close as we will be getting for a long time! But it has been really fun for the kids and I. This little cardinal (lovingly known as "the red bird" lives in the tree out front of our house and can always be seen from one of our windows. He also likes to talk to us. We can go outside and whistle at him and he whistles back. We think we will get a bird feeder to feed our little pet, it's just great that we don't have to clean up after him!
