Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta

Our Trip to Albuquerque was wonderful! We arrived a little after midnight and after just a few short hours we were up and off to Balloon Fiesta Park. We did a LITTLE of everything that day! We sat in more than a little traffic where we saw a FEW balloons. We finally made it to a parking place where we got the kids dressed and at which point it rained a FEW raindrops which made all of the ballooners put their balloons away if they weren't up in the air. So they launched only about 60 of the several hundred balloons. But the highlights of the day were the landing of the security helicopter, which they then allowed all of the kids to sit in, and the latter inflating of one balloon! Later that night we saw of few fireworks from the freeway on the way to go watch them! And then we got to see Daisy, Bobby, Emma, Noah, and Jonah for a few minutes. Thank heavens the kids are so small...to them a few balloons and a few fireworks were just right!!!
